It's now less than 6 months until Christmas and this December we will be running "The Big Christmas Table Talk App Giveaway” throughout the UK and the world.
You may be aware that we have written a series of conversational resources called Table Talk (www.table-talk.org), which in the lats year have increased from 12 to 14 games. The purpose of the resource is to create space for friends and family to talk together about the big and not so big questions of life and faith.
Table Talk for Christmas is an all age family game that explores the spirit and meaning of the Christmas story. It is an ideal gift to offer at your community Carol Services, through parent and toddler groups, via your local schools or via the media (radio and local papers) to all those living in your community. It is available free now on iOS and GooglePlay.
If you would like to be part of this initiative and offer the app to all those who connect with you or your church or are in your community. It can be offered as a gift from your church to your community.
Should you decide to join this years initiative then we are offering the following resources free to help you let people know about the giveaway.
- Christmas card - we have four christmas card designs available each carry simple information of where the app can be downloaded from. As part of offering the Christmas card we will add your Christmas Service details for free and then send you a PDF which you can take to your printer to print. This service is available until November 30th.
- Web banner - letting people know about the Christmas app giveaway
- Data slide - to be used in church via notices
- Advert - send it to your local newspaper
- Posters - letting people know that the app is available

Last Christmas we trialled this initiative with a few networks across the UK. One story that was particularly moving was offered by a local church leader who for the last 27 years has been intentionally looking for an appropriate moment to have a meaningful conversation with his brother-in-law. Over Christmas the two families played Table Talk for Christmas together. The outcome? A moment when someone asked one of the questions in the game that unlocked a conversation that could be the start of something new.
